Travel 24 km southwest of Nannup on the Brockman Highway and you'll fnd Poison Swamp Farm situated on the banks of the Blackwood River . I have lived here since 1976 years. In that time I have built a three level house, a studio to display my woodwork and self contained guest house... all from stone and native timbers collected from the surrounding forests.
At the same time I began collecting Jarrah
Burls from old logging coups within a two to three km radius of my
property. All the works I now produce are from a nonrenewable
resource, none of which have been collected from a living
tree.
